Warewa community needs urgent government attention

Residents of Warewa community in Ogun state, have cried to President Muhammadu Buhari to rescue them from the terrible situation they have found themselves in.
Evritinnaija paid a recent visit to the sleepy community which is always at the receiving end of the opening of the Oyan dam to ascertain the level of damage after the flood ravaged the community, and the deplorable state of the road sure caused a high level of unrest among the residents.
Those who spoke with us stated that the road had remained that way for a really long while now, despite the fact that there had been several leaders in the state.
Their complaint majorly, is for President Buhari to come to their aide since efforts to get their state governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, to do something has not yielded any positive result in past years.
“We appeal to our president to save us from losing our lives in this place. We came here to live and not die, and since our governor and the leadership of the state have failed us,” one of the residents who spoke anonymously, stated.
Another resident of the area who is a motorcycle rider, confided in our correspondent that many of them even find it difficult to make their living since the state of the road got worse.
“Right now, the motorcycle that I work with was given to me by a friend and I had to wash and return to him within a few days because I’ll need to get it back for work after this week,” he added.
