APC Dividing? Oshiomhole Calls Okorocha Total EMBARRASSMENT, Blasts Amosun Too

Image
The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, on Friday lashed out again at the governors of Imo and Ogun states, Rochas Okorocha and Ibukunle Amosun. This came barely 24 hours after the two governors renewed their attacks on the APC chairman. While Okorocha claimed on Thursday that the fortunes of the APC had witnessed a downturn since Oshiomhole took over as national chairman, Amosun alleged that the party chairman and his cohorts were working towards handing over Ogun to “a gang of expansionists.” In an apparent response to the two governors, Oshiomhole described their personal attacks on his person as a direct result of their failure to foist undemocratic processes on the party. Specifically, he described governor Okorocha as “an embarrassment” to the APC with his failed attempt to elicit APC’s support to help him build “a political dynasty” as well as his needless personal feud with the institution of the church in his state. Nigerian comedian, Francis Agoada, popularly known as I Go Die has said that Nigerian workers are the most used in the world. This is coming after the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) on Tuesday agreed to pay a national minimum wage of N22,500 despite labour unions’ threat to embark on strike over the non-implementation of N30,000 proposed minimum wage. However, the   Federal Government has rejected the N22,500 minimum wage proposed   by the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, NGF. The comedian wrote: ”Nigeria workers are the most used workers in the world, other countries work per hour, while Nigerian workers work from 8am to 4pm and yet they are paid less than $50 monthly. ”When I proposed to the Federal Government in 2017 Logic and Reason without guns. Seun Kuti, son of late afro-beat maestro, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, has warned musicians claiming to live his father’s musical legacy to stay away. According to the controversial singer, though Fela’s music is for the listening pleasure of the entire world, his legacies are strictly for his children to protect and nurture because it was only his family that stood by him during the torture he suffered in his lifetime. “Whatever you think Fela went through, he went through with his family. We were his rock. My mother used to tell me bed time stories about all the scars on her. My step mum, Najite was the first person the soldiers saw in Kalakuta, she was swimming; they picked her up by her head from the pool and broke her neck! My mother had a broken bayonet stitched into her and she couldn’t walk for 18-months. The amount of state sanctioned violence I have seen in my life as a child. When I was 9 I saw the cops shoot and kill one of my dad’s boys in front of Afrikan Shrine and just

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has admonished the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu not to indict himself by his involvement in what it calls “the smear campaign” and “unsavoury comments” against its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. The PDP made this known in reaction to the claim that the PDP candidate for 2019 presidential election will not win the election no matter how hard he and his party work at it. It said that Tinubu, as an elder, should “not reduce his pedigree” by engaging in what it called indecorous utterances which it said had become the trademark APC. Naija News recalls that the former governor of Lagos State had boasted that the Nigerians will not make the mistake of voting for the PDP after wracking the country during its its years reign. Tinubu had said, “We don’t fear, whether he is meeting in the jungle, in Dubai or in Abu Dhabi. People are free to meet and strategise in any way they fell, but we are not going b

Okorocha said that Oshiomhole’s actions had affected APC negatively, adding that there was no instruction from the president directing him to do anything illegal or create any sort of injustice. “How can I build a house and leave it for someone else? I am in APC; I founded APC; I gave the name APC and so this is our party and we continue with the party and build the party for victory. “Oshiomhole is on his own in this whole thing; there is no presidency support for him to refuse those
