Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have expressed rage over recent activities of officers of the Nigerian army in the South-East, particularly in Abia State. Evritiinaija understands that the proscribed pro-Biafra group expressed their displeasures as a followup reaction to the killing of a commercial motorcycle operator by a happy-trigger soldier in Aba. Recall that the motorcyclist was allegedly killed over his refusal to pay N100 daily illegal toll at Ohanze, in Obingwa LGA of the State. In their reactions, the IPOB members have however called for the immediate dismantling of multiple military checkpoints across South-East. Mohammed Yakoob, a sibling of Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, says the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) is responsible for his misfortune. El-Zakzaky and his wife have been in detention since 2015 when some of his followers clashed with soldiers in Zaria, Kaduna state.
