The source said the decision to sack Obazee was taken before Adeboye appointed a new leader for the ministry. The source said: “The sack of Obazee had nothing to do with the decision of the General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Adeboye to resign, retire, step aside or whatever. That was the awesome plan Fred had devised and as he was divulging it, it was obvious he believed it was really going to work out and Kemi would soon be his girl. All that Tunde said fell on the deaf ears of Fred, who had no doubt about the success of his plan. “Do ladies not like money? There is a saying that “money does it all” but this is not applicable in all cases. We have ladies who get irritated at the sight of boastful men or guys whose modus operandi in issues pertaining to women, is money. Some men are of the opinion that there’

7 ways to let go of someone you love

Image
Letting go of a lover or partner is one of the hardest things to do. The agony of heartbreak can be so excruciating that it could cripple a man. But life must go on. Regardless of how the cherished one got away – whether by death or a separation – it is fundamental that you quit fixating on what you have lost. Here are a few ways to go about this. 1. Emotional events influence our future experiences, says study

Image
Experiences which make the most impact on our feelings will have strong effects on future events, says a new study. Before arriving at this conclusion, researchers from New York University assigned participants to look at a series of images. One group was first shown images that aroused emotion, and then neutral ones while the other group were first shown the neutral images, then the emotional ones. Six hours later, the participants were tested to see how well they remembered what they saw. Those who were first exposed to images that provoked emotion had sharper recall of the neutral images than those who saw neutral images first, the study found. “How we remember events is not just a consequence of the external world we experience, but is also strongly influenced by our internal states. “And these internal states can persist and colour future experiences,” said Lila Davachi, senior author of the study. High dose of vitamin C kills cancer cells, says new research

High dose of vitamin C fights cancer cells but are harmless to healthy cells, a new research has shown. A study conducted by researchers from the University of Iowa, U.S., found that vitamin C creates hydrogen peroxide, a reactive oxygen species that causes damage to tissue and DNA. Cancer cells are much less capable of removing this damaging hydrogen peroxide than normal healthy cells are, according to the research. The researchers say high doses of vitamin C administered intravenously could help fight off cancer when used alongside standard chemotherapy and radiation treatments. According to the study, high doses of vitamin C can bypass the stomach, which enables more of the nutrient to enter the bloodstream. “In this paper we demonstrate that cancer cells are much less efficient in removing hydrogen peroxide than normal cells. Thus, cancer cells are much more prone to damage and death from a high amount of hydrogen peroxide,” says Garry Buettner, a professor of radiation on

President Muhammadu Buhari The hope of the poorest and most vulnerable to experience a change in their standard of living since the inauguration of President Muhammadu Buhari in May 2015 may have been dashed, following an alleged hijack of the Federal Government’s monthly stipend meant for them.
