Referendun: Grant Nnamdi Kanu’s Request, Amaechi Advises Buhari
Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Mbazulike Amaechi, has thrown his weight behind the call for referendum by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB. Speaking in an interview with the Sun, the first republic politician called on President Muhammadu Buhari to listen to IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu and call for a referendum for the People of the south-east. Amaechi was reacting to the marching order given to Service Chiefs by President Buhari to crush Biafra agitators. He questioned why the government will focus on Nnamdi Kanu and observe mutism to the Arewa youths who have similarly threatened unity of the country. He said: “If I wake up and say, I would go and blow up Aso Rock, would I be arrested, or when I march to Aso Rock fully armed? “Why the focus on Nnamdi Kanu, what of the other Arewa youths who are committing similar or more grievous offences?
