I’m Ready To Commit Suicide If… – Obasanjo

Image
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has said that he wouldn’t mind to commit suicide if Nigeria loses hope even as he offered reasons why he could not chose to remain silent when he sees things going wrong in the country. He says because he is an incurable optimist in the Nigerian project, he would continue to talk and point out things going wrong because he still believes that Nigeria has great hope. Answering questions from students of the Ijaw National Academy (INA) Kaiama at the school auditorium as part of activities lined up for his two day working visit to Bayelsa, Obasanjo said in spite of the economic and political challenges confronting the country, there is great hope for Nigeria. While admitting that there are things that could have been done differently, he insisted that Nigerians should not give up hope as that would spell doom for the country. “If Nigeria does not have hope I would find a rope and commit suicide immediately because then what am I living for? There are three arms of government—Executive, legislature and the judiciary.” “Over the last 16 years, they have developed the system of choosing their leaders. There is no way I can directly interfere. Why you must avoid sitting crossing legs

Image
A bad sitting posture could cause major damage to legs. In this report by SADE OGUNTOLA, experts say that sitting in crossed-leg position for a prolonged period, for instance, can do more harm than good. The crossing of knees is a very common pose people adopt when sitting down; many people do this consciously. This position is elegant and s3xy, and often associated with being ’’feminine’’ and ’’ladylike.’’  But not too many people know that sitting crossed leg can have some serious consequences on their health and bodies. Charming as sitting with a crossed-leg posture may seem to be, it is not a normal sitting position to be encouraged for prolonged period of time. “A fat person that sits with crossed-leg will feel the muscles of the thigh rub more on themselves. So, it will not be too comfortable for a fat person, even if a slim person can cope,” said Dr Fatai Adeniyi, a physiotherapist, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Oyo State. Reasons why it’s a bad idea to be close friends with your ex after a breakup:

Image
your ex breakup zumi “It’s over, but we can still be friends.” How many times have we heard that line? Probably more than we’d like to remember. There’s always that ex who wants to still be friends after the breakup. Maybe they just say that to make the situation better, or maybe they feel bad about breaking somebody’s heart. Or maybe they just want to have some remaining control over the life of their now ex. It’s hard to say what makes people want to be friends after a relationship is over, but no matter what the motive is, it’s a bad idea. We’ll say that again, it’s a very bad idea to stay friends with your ex after a breakup. There are those people who are strong enough to pull off such an arrangement, and we give kudos to them. However, most people only agree to this friendship after heartbreak arrangement out of the hope that fences could probably still be mended. Like we said earlier, bad idea. We’re not saying you should hate your ex or be sworn enemies, but you need some
