Doctors at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital , Ikeja , are battling to save the life of a civil servant in the state , identified only as Mistura, after she was allegedly attacked by her maid in the Ejigbo area .          Evritinnaija learnt that Mistura had been in a coma since Monday , March 5 , 2018, when she was attacked with blended pepper and a wine bottle by the maid, identified as Susan Samson .                  The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has said it will not release the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results immediately, unlike it did in 2017. The examination is scheduled to begin on Friday, March 9, to March 17. The registrar of the board, Ishaq Oloyede, said this during a press conference titled “Conduct of the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination” in Abuja on Wednesday. According to the registrar, the reason for the delay in releasing the results is to review the activities of the candidates and to minimise the number of cancellations. “We want to monitor everything that happens through our CCT cameras. Last year, we proved a point that there is nothing extraordinary in the immediate release of results but we had to cancel some results when we found out what happened in some centres. The Coalition of Northern Groups has called on federal government to declare state-of-emergency in Taraba, Kaduna, Benue and Zamfara, to curb incessant loss of lives and property. Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has issued a directive for necessary arrangements to be made for another mass burial in the state. The mass burial is planned to hold next week Friday, March 16. The governor gave this directive on Tuesday during his visit to Omusu village. He described the attack as unfortunate and called for the arrest and prosecution of the herdsmen allegedly responsible for the attack on Omusu village in Okpokwu Local Government Area of the state which has left 24 people dead. 14 of the victims were women, two children while the search for more bodies has continued. Governor Ortom during the visit to the village appealed to the community not to embark on reprisal attacks.
