The presidency has reportedly written the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) asking for a probe of a bishop who allegedly peddled the death rumour of President Muhammadu Buhari. A father in Benue has been arrested by operatives after he killed his daughter to offer as a ‘sacrificial lamb’ to God. The Benue father has been identified as John Depuun, and he allegedly snatched his infant daughter from his wife and took her to a bush in Mbangur, Tse-Agberagba, Konshisha LGA, Benue state, where he killed her. A 40-year-old man, Mr Joseph Abanda has revealed that he killed one Umaru Yakubu, for having sex with his wife in the bush. According to Punch Nigeria, the Niger State Police Command has arrested Joseph Abanda, for the death of Umaru Yakubu of Kwagana village in Paikoro Local Government Area of the state. The command confirmed the suspect’s arrest on Tuesday, stating that a team of detectives attached to the Kanfin-Koro Division apprehended the suspect over Yakubu’s murder.
