The National Assembly, has said that former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, will never make it to heaven, for been the grandfather of corruption in Nigeria.
The Lower Chamber of the National Assembly, in a statement by its Chairman, Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Abdulrazak Namdas, stated this in response to the latest attack on the National Assembly by Obasanjo.
Recall, that Obasanjo had recently attacked the National Assembly, while describing their constituency projects as nothing, but corruption.
Obasanjo had also added that he would love to go to heaven to sing with the host of angels.
In a swift response, the House of Representatives fired back, saying that Obasanjo is the “grandfather of corruption in Nigeria.”
The House said attacking the National Assembly was Obasanjo’s pastime, a reason it took a position in 2016, to reply him “comprehensively and close the chapter.”
Namdas added: “We won’t respond to any corruption allegations by Obasanjo against us anymore.
“We have replied him enough, and our position remains what we said earlier. It has not changed.
“I refer you to our comprehensive position on Obasanjo in 2016. That is still our position.”
