Nigerian Army tells Nigerians what to do about herdsmen

Nigerian Army has urged Nigerians to report fleeing herdsmen found in their areas to security agencies.
It said this will ensure that such elements are dealt with before they cause security breach.

This is contained in a statement on Wednesday by the Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Texas Chukwu.

He said this while announcing recent successes of Operation Cat Race.

Chukwu noted that to further consolidate feat of the Excercise, troops are embarking on regular patrol of communities in states being covered.

”The Nigerian Army therefore, solicit for law abiding citizens to look out for fleeing herdsmen seeking for refuge in their communities as they are on the run and report promptly to nearest military or security agency”, the spokesman added.
