Lamido to Journalists: I see poverty, dispel in your faces

While assessing the situation of the country, the former governor of Jigawa state, Sule Lamido has said the situation of the country is best likened to that of journalists when he disclosed that all he could see on the faces of journalists are poverty and dispel.
Lamido said this to journalists after a two hours close door meeting with the former President Dr Olusegun Obasanjo at his Presidential Library(OOPL) in Abeokuta.
The former Jigawa state governor said he has visited the former President to seek his fatherly advice and guardians over his Presidential ambition but added that his take on Nigeria is what he could see on the faces of journalists who are interviewing him.
He further disclosed that what he could see in Nigeria is the exact thing he can see on the faces of journalists who are present at the former President’s residents as at the time of his visit to Dr Obasanjo.
On his visit, he said “In Nigerian, when they say who is baba’s son? They say it is Sule Lamido and as a result of this, I have only come to my father to seek guardians and as well talk about Nigeria and to still tap from his wisdom about Nigeria.
When asked of his take on the present situation of the country he stressed that, ” my take on the present situation of the country is what I see on your faces, I see poverty, dispel infact I see that there is no hope for this country on your faces
Asking if he has come to consult on his Presidential ambition, he said “ Yes, I aspiring and as a result I must discuss that with my Father, Baba Obasanjo”
Speaking on the gales of defections he added “In a political party what you need is followership and when people are coming into your own party, you should be happy and even celebrate.” He added
