Nigerian singer, Mr May D has come out to clear the air on several comments made by Osagie Alonge and his co-hosts on a recent episode of their LooseTalk Podcast.
The matter began with Wizkid who their main talking points of discourse on the episode themed ‘What’s your shoe size’ . They by their comments sided with the star artiste’s baby mamas who had called him a deadbeat father while making some other weighty allegation against him.
In the podcast which has now been deleted, edited and re-uploaded, Osagie alleged that Wizkid was older that 27 years that he claims to be, he was deeply involved in drug abuse and once assaulted one of his ex managers. In the same Podcast, Osagz also alleged that Wizkid had forgotten his day one friends- Piper and Rotimi Rude-boy, who actually began Wizkid’s music career with him in 2007.
According to Osagz, Wizkid takes hard drugs and cannot afford the lifestyle that he flaunts on social media; which is one of the reasons he snubs his baby mamas and cannot provide money for their child support.
Wizkid was also accused of copyright infringement by Osagz who alleged that Wizkid stole May D’s songs and melodies buy knocking him out with drugs.
While Osagie and the rest of the LooseTalk giants are still receiving bashing for actions, MayD in a series of tweets has come out to deny the allegations, referring to them as blatant lies.
He said; ‘It has been brought to my attention some false news going on around saying Wiz accomodated me and gave me drugs as well as stole my melody. None of this is true. We both collaborated on a track called Bamilo, which we never shot a video and that’s that..
Alonge who was most targetted in the backlash has since sent out a public apology to all who feel aggrieved by the opinions shared on the loose talk podcast. He shared a long post on Instagram, apologising to Wizkid, Teni Entertainer, while also raising an alarm that he and his co-hosts have been receiving death threats as a result of the incident.
