Breaking: I have not resigned - Osinbajo

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has debunked the rumour of his alleged resignation as the Vice President of the country.
He warned the public against believing fakenews.
Thevice president saidhe is committed to the service of the Nigerianpeople under the leadership of his principal, PresidentMuhammadu Buhari.
He lamented the riseof fake newsin the country, especially asNigerians prepare for another election.
Thevice president madethe statement while reacting to claimsby the Peoples DemocraticParty chieftain, DoyinOkupe, andothers that he threatened to resign after he wasexcluded from a meeting.

However, Professor Osinbajo, who spoke at a meeting with young Christian leaders in Lagoson Wednesdaynight said,he missed the security briefingmeeting because he wasbusy inhis office.


He said:"They are deliberate propaganda. Today (Wednesday), they’ve been spreadingsome information around that I’ve resigned. They saidI didn’t attend a security meetingyesterday. I was too busy in my office.
"The same securitypeople weremeetingwith methat same evening. Must I attend every meeting? Can’t the President hold a meeting with thesecurity chiefswithout me? TheysaidI was so angrythat theydidn’t bringme tothat meeting, that I was excluded, thenI resigned! I have not resigned."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Osinbajo describedas absurd, the lies, propagandaandaccusations againstPresidentBuhari.
Osinbajosaidthis on Wednesdaynight, February20, while responding to questions at aninteractive sessionand engagementheld at Muson Centre, Lagos.

Theinteractive sessiontagged: 'Unveiling TheTruth', organised by young Christian group, hadsome Christian leaders inattendance.
Participants used the occasion to ask plentyofquestions bothering oninsecurity, economy, blaming ofpast administrations,social welfare for the unemployed, corruption, andtimingof TraderMoni.
