LGBT activists angry over Pastor claims he can ‘cure’ homosexuality

A group of South African LGBT activists have vowed to approach the Equality  Court  over claims by controversial pastor Hamilton Nala, that his faith water can heal homosexuality. The group picketed outside Nala Mandate International in Durban on Sunday. They called for Nala – who previously claimed his faith water could heal HIV – to stop sending a false message that sexual orientation was a choice and could be “fixed”. Hlengiwe Buthelezi, chairperson of KZN LGBT Recreation, which promotes inclusion in arts and culture, said homosexuality was not a sickness. “It’s nature. he leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, on Tuesday inspected a guard of honour of tt he Biafra Secret Service (BSS) in Umuahia, Abia State.   According to the BSS which was recently inaugurated, they are ready to restore Biafra. The members came from different states including Delta, River. “This is Biafra Secret Service (BSS) men that have volunteered to defend Biafranland. You will see what is made up of Biafra security today.”  “Like our leader will rightly say, we are here to restore Biafra. Gani Adams, Yoruba group give reasons Nigeria should be restructured

The convener of Oodua Progressives Union and leader of the Oodua Peoples Congress, Gani Adams has joined eminent Nigerians in the call for the restructuring of the country.                       Adams, while lending his voice to the call for restructuring also suggested the adoption of “mutual understanding and compromise” to make Nigeria’s democracy workable. He said this during the third Europe Summit of Yoruba natives in diaspora​, Odua Progressive Union​, OPU, which held in Sweden. In a communiqué issued by its Europe Coordinator, Victor Adewale, OPU said the immediate restructuring of Nigeria will ensure development and rescue ​the country from imminent crash. A Niger Delta leader and convener of the South South Reawakening Group, Joseph Ambakederimo, has called on Nigerians to ignore those championing the campaign for the restructuring of Nigeria. He stressed that even if the country was restructured, the various challenges confronting Nigeria would still persist. Ambakederimo, who spoke on Tuesday at a forum with journalists to celebrate his 56th birthday in Enerhen-Effurun, Uvwie Council Area of Delta State, supported the submission of former President Olusegun Obasanjo that what Nigerians needed was the restructuring of mindset and character for the country to move forward. Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has charged the people of Imo State and South East in general to make more investments in Agriculture, saying that it remains the main-stay of Nigerian economy. IPOB: Lawyers demand 'clinical investigation' of Kanu, petition AGF

Worried by Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB’s, call for boycott of elections in Anambra State, a group of lawyers in the state have petitioned the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), to probe IPOB activities. The lawyers, under the aegis of Anambra State Lawyers in Defence of Democracy (ASLAD), has urged AGF to ensure the commencement of a “high-powered clinical investigation” the Nnamdi Kanu led IPOB activities. Kanu and his IPOB group have continued their campaign of no elections in any of the five South East states, beginning from the coming November governorship election in Anambra State, until the Federal Government allows a referendum for Biafra.
